About Us

Where are the dogs from?

We get our dogs from kill shelters owner surrenders in which we have transports that pick up and bring the dogs to the facility.

Why foster homes?

Foster homes allow the dogs to practice good "at home" behaviors and makes it easier to transition them into their Furever homes.

How can I help?

We are looking for individuals that can help volunteer, transport across all 48 states, donate or foster. For more information check out our volunteer section!

About Us

How We're Helping

We are a nonprofit organization based out of Fremont, NE focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize fundraisers, community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers.

FurEver Home also provides low cost spay/neuter, vaccination and micro-chipping programs, as well as training to local Dodge County residents.

We also offer the "Bail Out" program to help owners pay for "bail" fees assessed at the local shelter after their dog has been picked up as a stray. Upon bail out, the owner agrees to spay/neuter their pet, get vaccinations updated, micro-chip and license their pet. Owners receive a one time free in-home consult to prevent their pet from getting loose and running stray again.

As well as "Operation Sit & Stay" to those owners who are going through medical treatment or recovery from major surgery who are not able to care for their dogs while they are trying to get better, have no family available or near to assist them, or could not otherwise afford boarding services.

Testimonials

"I think they are a very fortunate to be here for all of these rescue dogs and puppy. And how they work to find them these dogs their furever homes. It does not seem to be a easy job for all of them so they work their hardest each and every day to find homes for all of these rescue dogs and puppys. I congratulate all of the people that work there including the volunteers that take care of these animals each and every day if the week."

"Thank you Furever Home for allowing our home to become Corky's home. You have been amazing to work with and I will recommend your rescue to friends and family who are looking to open their home to a dog.   Thank you, thank you, thank you Deb and Amanda!"
